YO Restaurant is located on the central campus in the main building of the University of Tampere. It is one of the first restaurants in Juvese’s more than 60-year history and has cared for students and the entire university community for decades. YO Restaurant offers a responsible and versatile lunch selection every day. At the heart of the restaurant, customers are served by the Fusion Kitchen concept, whose selection includes popular burgers as platters.
Yläkuppila features changing menu with themes such as Tex-Mex, Asian, and Mediterranean. Lunch is served Monday to Friday: 10:30-14.00. Welcome to enjoy delicious meals !
The bright restaurant hall of the YO Restaurant, with large windows overlooking the University campus, is easily transformed into an elegant banquet hall. The university’s classic ballroom and spacious ballroom lobby enable high-quality events, occasions and academic celebrations to be held in beautifull settings. The restaurant will also provide meeting and representation services for the conference rooms in the main building. The Juvenes party service has a Rotisseurs plate as proof of gastronomic merit and we have our own sommelier.

You can offset the carbon footprint of your meal by donating at least 5 cents to our Reforest collaboration when you purchase your lunch. Juvenes will also donate 5 cents for every offset made, and all donations will be used in full for Reforest’s reforestation efforts.
