At Restaurant Alere, a delicious and versatile lunch is served every weekday. One of the hot meal options is always a vegetarian dish. On Thursdays, the restaurant also offers traditional pea soup and, for dessert, pancakes with jam and whipped cream. Every day there is also a gluten-free and vegan lunch option available; these may not always appear on the menu, but can be requested from our staff.
If you wish, you can also buy lunch to take away.
Restaurant Alere has two separate bright dining halls, which are also well-suited for hosting various events.
Alere was the first Juvenes restaurant in Vaasa, and it opened at the beginning of 2017.

The subsidised student lunch can also be purchased for takeaway.

In Juvenes restaurants, leftover lunch portions can be purchased at a reduced price right after the lunch service ends.
You can offset the carbon footprint of your meal by donating at least 5 cents to our Reforest partnership when purchasing lunch. Juvenes will match each contribution with an additional 5 cents, and all donations will be fully directed to Reforest’s reforestation efforts.
